Xinda is an enterprise specializing in the production of ferroalloy in Inner Mongolia. Abundant local mineral resources and electricity at favorable prices. Focus on ferroalloy industry production for more than 25 years, with rich experience. Average production and sales of 20,000 tons per month.
Production Description
Ferrochrome is the most important intermediate raw material for the production of stainless steel and uses the majority of the world’s chrome supply. Ferrochrome is an alloy of chromium and iron containing between 50% and 70% chromium. The ferrochrome is produced by electric arc melting of silicon chrome and chromium ore. Most of the ferrochrome produced worldwide is used in manufacturing stainless steel.

How to produce Ferrochrome?
Chrome Ore+Lime+Ferro Silicon Chrome--Refining Furnace--Finished product processing(FeCr)
Application
1. Ferrochrome is used in the production of stainless steel.
Ferro chrome contains chromium between 50% and 70%. Almost 80% of the world’s ferrochrome is used in the production of stainless steel.
2. Low-carbon and medium-carbon ferrochrome are used in the manufacture of special steels.
3. Low-carbon ferrochrome can be used to produce superalloys.
